“Hannibal” fans have been waiting with bated breath for Season 4 and even though it has been a frustrating wait, there might be some light at the end of the tunnel. Mads Mikkelsen, who plays the titular character, discussed the show's potential return in a recent interview.

Despite keeping pretty busy since the show ended, the “Fantastic Beasts” actor is still up for returning, despite feeling the show had a solid ending. "I don't think you'd find a member of the cast that is still alive that would say, "No, thanks," Mikkelsen said. "We all enjoyed it tremendously."

Unfortunately, showrunner Brian Fuller wanted to incorporate Clarice Starling into the fourth season, but due to a CBS Clarice-focused spin-off has been unable to secure the rights. Fuller has pitched an idea for an “Inception” meets “Angel Heart” Season 4 narrative, but the show’s return has yet to be greenlit.
